Matty- Journal Entry 1- Healing the Frog

  I was taking a walk through the edge of Forest. Today wasn't any different from any other day, that is until I saw the frog. It was severely wounded with a leg partially falling off. I felt bad for the thing and knelt down to it. The poor thing was looking at me with fear in its eyes. It knew that he couldn't escape with that wounded leg. I saw that its bad leg was just barely hanging on. I should probably cut it away. As I picked up the frog and a rock to cut away the dead leg, I felt a surge of power all of the sudden. I then laid a shaky hand on the frog's bad leg. I shut my eyes tightly and the surge of power died out. When I opened my eyes, the frog's leg was healed! What had I just done? I slowly let it down near a fern to keep it safe from the eyes of the passing predator. I fled after that, still afraid of what I had just done...
