Important Event #1

  One of the events that stood out to me in chapter 5 of 'The Messenger' was when Matty healed the frog. This event is important because it is the time when Matty discovers his powers and what he is capable of. Matty can heal the injured or broken. When Matty is walking through Forest one day, he stumbles upon an injured frog. It's leg was about to come off and it couldn't hop away if a predator found it. Feeling bad for the animal, Matty picked it up. Just as he was about to cut away the bad leg, a strange feeling flooded through him. When he looked back down at the frog, it's leg was healed. This leads to Matty telling Leader about his abilities. This was one of the most important events that happened in this story.
