Kira- Journal Entry #2- Warnings

  It is almost nighttime on the first day of entering Forest. I have noticed how dark and ominous this place is. I wonder how Matty feels about this... I noticed how nervous he seems lately. Hmm...is this how Forest normally is? Or is this the first time Forest has acted this way for Matty? Is that why he is so nervous looking? My thoughts are interrupted when I feel something poke me. It was a light poke on the bottom of my foot. I look down. A twig? How did a twig get into my shoe? I decide to ignore it and keep going. 2 more hours pass without another twig poking me. Then it happens again. This time, the twig stabbed me in the foot, hard. I grunt in pain, reaching down to pull out the twig from my shoe, stopping briefly. The twig was lodged into my flesh, making a pretty deep cut when I pull it out, exhaling sharply. Geez, that's weird. Matty decides to stop and make camp here. In that brief pause in getting the twig out of my shoe and Matty deciding to camp here, five more stick lodged themselves in my feet. i sigh and sit down on a log to pull them out again. I eventually tell Matty about it. He looks away into Forest's depths. He tries to hide his face, but I can still read his expression and I don't like it. Forest isn't acting normally. There's something big happening and I'm afraid...
